White House Rejects Report on Iran’s Remaining Missile Power

Date:

WASHINGTON, United States – Web Desk: The White House has strongly pushed back against a US television report claiming that nearly half of Iran’s missile arsenal and launch systems remain operational despite recent American military operations.

According to the report, Iran still retains a significant portion of its military strength, including roughly 60% of its naval weapons and fast attack boats, which were allegedly used in attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

The report also claimed that nearly two-thirds of Iran’s air force remains operational, suggesting Tehran’s military capabilities are stronger than publicly acknowledged by the Trump administration.

It further stated that Iran’s military infrastructure remains more intact than official US statements have suggested.

Responding sharply, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt criticized the report and accused sections of the US media of promoting narratives favorable to the Iranian government.

She said that under President Donald Trump, the US military had “nearly completely destroyed” Iran’s defense industrial infrastructure within 38 days.

Leavitt added that Iran’s ability to produce and store ballistic missiles and long-range drones had been pushed back by years, while claiming the Iranian navy had been “completely destroyed.”

The conflicting claims come as tensions between United States and Iran continue to raise concerns over regional stability, military escalation, and global energy markets.
