Dar Meets Chinese Envoy, Discusses US-Iran Talks, Region

Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a key meeting with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong on Tuesday to discuss regional developments, including ongoing tensions and potential negotiations between the United States and Iran.

According to the Foreign Office, both sides exchanged views on the evolving regional situation, with particular focus on diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions and promoting dialogue.

The Chinese envoy expressed strong support for Pakistan’s role in facilitating communication between Washington and Tehran, emphasizing the importance of sustained diplomatic engagement to achieve long-term peace and stability in the region.

Dar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to advancing the Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership and highlighted the significance of continued high-level exchanges to further strengthen bilateral ties.

The meeting underscores growing regional coordination amid heightened geopolitical uncertainty, as global powers push for diplomatic solutions to avoid further escalation.
