(Web Desk: Tehran, Iran) Iran has warned it is fully prepared to deliver an immediate and decisive response to any hostile action, as tensions in the region remain elevated.
General Abdollahi, head of the Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters — Iran’s central military command — said Tehran is ready to counter any aggression from its adversaries without delay.
In a statement, he emphasized that Iran maintains firm control over the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global oil transit route, and rejected what he described as misleading narratives about the situation on the ground.
The remarks appeared to reference statements by Donald Trump, with the Iranian commander asserting that Tehran would not allow any distortion of facts regarding regional developments.
General Abdollahi reiterated that Iran’s armed forces remain on high alert and are capable of responding effectively across all domains.
Separately, Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, Iran’s judiciary chief, warned that the possibility of renewed US attacks cannot be ruled out. He said any action against Iranian vessels would be met with a firm and certain response.
The statements come amid ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Gulf region, where security concerns around maritime routes continue to draw global attention.
