Washington, United States – Web Desk: US President Donald Trump has said that the next meeting with Iran could take place over the weekend, signaling continued progress in ongoing diplomatic discussions between Washington and Tehran.
Speaking to the media, Trump stated that negotiations with Iran were advancing significantly and expressed optimism about reaching an agreement. He added that a deal with Iran appeared increasingly likely, warning that failure to reach an agreement could risk renewed conflict.
Trump reiterated that Iran must not be allowed to possess nuclear weapons, adding that Tehran is now reportedly willing to take steps it previously resisted. He also said it remains unclear whether an extension of the current ceasefire framework with Iran would be necessary.
The US president further claimed that Iran has agreed to return what he described as “nuclear dust,” and said discussions were moving closer toward a potential agreement.
Separately, Trump stated that Hezbollah would also be included in a broader Lebanon ceasefire arrangement, linking multiple regional security issues to ongoing diplomatic efforts.
