Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: In the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Hyderabad Kings secured a convincing five-wicket victory over Rawalpindi, registering their third consecutive win in the tournament.
In the match played in Karachi, Hyderabad Kings won the toss and opted to field first, putting Rawalpindi into batting.
Rawalpindi managed to score 121 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Sam Billings top-scored with 26 runs, while Yasir Khan contributed 24 runs.
For Hyderabad Kings, Mohammad Ali and Hunain Shah delivered impressive bowling performances, taking three wickets each.
Chasing a target of 122, Hyderabad Kings reached the total comfortably in the 17th over, losing five wickets in the process. Irfan Khan Niazi remained unbeaten on 34 runs, while captain Marnus Labuschagne and Kusal Perera added 32 runs each.
With this win, Hyderabad Kings moved into the top four of the points table with six points, marking their third victory of the season.
Rawalpindi, meanwhile, suffered their sixth consecutive defeat and remain winless in the tournament so far.
