PM Shehbaz to Visit Saudi Arabia After US-Iran Talks

Date:

Islamabad-Web Desk: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to depart for an official visit to Saudi Arabia in the coming days, following an invitation from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

According to sources, the timing of the visit is being finalized, with the trip likely to take place within the next 48 hours. The visit comes at a critical juncture, shortly after high-level US-Iran negotiations hosted in Islamabad.

During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to hold meetings with the Saudi leadership to discuss regional developments, particularly the evolving situation in the Middle East and the outcome of ongoing diplomatic efforts between Washington and Tehran.

Officials say the discussions will also cover broader global issues and bilateral cooperation, reflecting the longstanding strategic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The visit is being viewed as significant in the context of shifting regional dynamics, with Pakistan playing an increasingly active diplomatic role in facilitating dialogue and promoting stability in the region.
