Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iranian cleric and political figure Mojtaba Khamenei has urged neighboring Gulf states to align with what he described as “truth” and avoid relying on what he called “false promises” from external powers.
In a post shared on social media, he addressed regional countries, stating that they are “witnessing a miracle” and should carefully assess current geopolitical developments before taking positions.
Without naming countries directly, he warned Gulf states against trusting “deceptive promises of evil powers,” a phrase widely interpreted by analysts as a reference to the United States and its allies.
Observers say the remarks appear to be directed particularly at regional powers including Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
The statement comes at a time of heightened regional instability following fluctuating ceasefire reports and renewed Israeli military activity in Lebanon. Iran has repeatedly accused Israel of violating ceasefire understandings, while regional diplomacy remains fragile.
