Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: A U.S. scientific journal has reported that 60% of Iran’s enriched uranium remains secure, despite last year’s reported attacks on its nuclear facilities.
According to the journal, Iran may have transferred nuclear material from its Natanz plant to Isfahan ahead of the attacks. Satellite images reportedly show containers typically used for storing nuclear material. On June 9, a vehicle carrying 18 containers reportedly left the Natanz facility.
Experts warn that the 60% enriched uranium could potentially be further enriched to weapons-grade levels within 10 days if necessary. This development highlights ongoing concerns about nuclear proliferation and regional security tensions in the Middle East.
