KYIV, Ukraine – Web Desk: Ukraine and Saudi Arabia have signed a new defence cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening military collaboration, technological exchange, and future investments, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Friday.
The agreement was finalized ahead of Zelenskyy’s meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during his official visit to the kingdom.
According to the Ukrainian president, the deal lays the groundwork for future defence contracts and joint initiatives, including cooperation on advanced systems and technologies.
“We are ready to share our expertise and systems with Saudi Arabia and to work together to strengthen the protection of lives,” Zelenskyy said in a statement on social media.
Analysts say the agreement reflects growing defence ties between Kyiv and Riyadh, as both countries seek to expand strategic partnerships amid shifting global security dynamics.
The development comes as Ukraine continues to strengthen international alliances while Saudi Arabia increases its role in regional and global security cooperation.
