Washington, USA – Web Desk: US President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to Iran, urging Tehran to engage seriously in ceasefire negotiations before it’s too late. Speaking to the press, Trump described Iranian negotiators as “very unusual” and “strange,” accusing them of seeking a deal from the US while claiming only to be reviewing American proposals.
Trump emphasized that Iran’s military has been “completely destroyed” and that its leaders have no realistic path to recovery. “It’s better they get serious now, before it’s too late. Once time passes, there will be no second chance,” he said.
During the press briefing, Trump also criticized NATO allies, saying the US does not require their assistance in the ongoing conflict with Iran. He described Iran as a “crazy country” and asserted that NATO has contributed nothing to counter Tehran’s military actions.
The president stressed that any ceasefire agreement would be on US terms, adding that Washington will carefully consider all aspects before committing. Trump concluded that the recent escalation in the Middle East makes clear why Iran is pursuing negotiations, not the United States.
