Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran has rejected recent ceasefire proposals put forward by the United States, stating that any halt to hostilities must be based strictly on Iranian conditions, according to officials.
Iranian authorities said the proposals were reviewed and deemed “inappropriate,” adding that Tehran would not allow external powers to determine the timing or terms of ending the conflict.
Officials further stated that Iran communicated through regional mediators that it will continue defensive operations until its conditions are met, including the cessation of attacks and an end to the targeting of Iranian officials.
According to the statement, Iran insists that any ceasefire agreement must include firm guarantees to prevent a renewed outbreak of conflict, with binding and verifiable measures.
The development comes amid heightened regional tensions and ongoing diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the situation.
