Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s military leadership has firmly rejected claims by former US President Donald Trump regarding potential negotiations, issuing a strong warning amid escalating regional tensions.
According to Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency, spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Lieutenant Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari, dismissed US assertions of ongoing or possible talks.
In a sharply worded statement, Zolfaghari questioned internal divisions within the United States, suggesting Washington appeared to be “negotiating with itself.” He added that US attempts to frame its setbacks as diplomatic progress would not be accepted.
The statement comes at a time when conflicting reports about potential US-Iran negotiations have been circulating internationally, fueling uncertainty in global markets and diplomatic circles.
Zolfaghari further warned that unless Iran’s conditions are met, oil prices are unlikely to return to previous levels and regional stability will remain elusive. The remarks underscore the growing geopolitical strain in the Middle East, particularly as tensions between Washington and Tehran continue to intensify.
