Pakistan’s Hussain Talat Ruled Out of Bangladesh Series

Date:

Lahore, Pakistan — Web Desk: Pakistan all-rounder Hussain Talat has been ruled out of the upcoming series against Bangladesh after suffering a shoulder injury, the Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed.

According to the PCB, Talat sustained the injury during the second One Day International (ODI), forcing him to withdraw from the remainder of the series. Medical assessments indicate that the all-rounder will require 12 to 14 weeks of recovery before returning to competitive cricket.

The injury setback also means Talat will miss the upcoming Pakistan Super League, dealing a blow to both his franchise and Pakistan’s squad depth ahead of a busy cricket calendar.

The PCB said Talat will report to the National Cricket Academy in Lahore, where he will undergo a structured rehabilitation program under the supervision of the board’s medical staff.

Talat has been an important middle-order option and seam-bowling all-rounder for Pakistan in recent years, and his absence could impact the team’s balance in the Bangladesh series.
