Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iranian authorities have granted permission for a Turkish-owned ship to safely transit the Strait of Hormuz, Turkish Transport Minister reported.
According to Turkish media, the minister stated that due to heightened regional tensions, 15 Turkish commercial vessels remain near the strait. Authorities are closely monitoring their movements to ensure safe passage and return.
The Turkish government has emphasized that all necessary measures are being taken to protect its commercial fleet and crew. The Strait of Hormuz, a critical global oil shipping lane, has seen disruptions due to escalating tensions and potential conflict with Iran.
