Drone Crashes in Oman Kill 2 Indian Workers, Injure 10+

Date:

Muscat, Oman – Web Desk: Two drone crashes in Oman’s northern province of Al-Sharq have killed at least two foreign workers, reportedly Indian, and injured more than ten others.

According to Oman’s state news agency and security sources, one drone crashed in an industrial area, killing two workers on the spot and injuring several others. The second drone fell in an open area, causing no casualties. Investigations have been launched to determine the origin and cause of both incidents.

The identities of the deceased have not been officially confirmed. Earlier media reports suggest both fatalities were Indian nationals.

This follows a recent drone attack at Salalah Airport, which damaged fuel storage facilities and temporarily disrupted port operations. Analysts link the drone incidents to ongoing regional tensions in the Middle East, particularly amid recent attacks in Iran.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation, emphasizing safety and security in the affected areas.
