Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk : Pakistan’s flight operations to the Middle East remain suspended due to the ongoing conflict between Israel, the US, and Iran, causing widespread disruption in regional air travel.
According to aviation authorities, 72 flights from across Pakistan were canceled on Friday alone, bringing the total number of canceled flights to over 1,456 in the past 14 days.
Major cancellations include 14 flights from Karachi to Doha, Bahrain, and Kuwait, and 17 flights from Lahore to Doha, Kuwait, Baghdad, and Dubai. Other affected cities include Islamabad (25 flights canceled), Peshawar (14), Sialkot (8), Faisalabad (10), and Multan (2).
In contrast, flights from Quetta to Dubai and Sharjah remain operational today. Meanwhile, for administrative reasons, four Islamabad-Karachi-Jeddah flights have been rescheduled in advance. Additionally, two Karachi-Islamabad flights (PK 300 & PA 208) departed 1–3 hours early, and two Islamabad-Jeddah flights (PA 273 & SV 3726) also departed one hour ahead of schedule.
Aviation officials have urged travelers to check flight schedules before traveling, as disruptions are expected to continue amid regional instability.
