MQM Pakistan Objects to Federal Move Changing Sindh Governor

Web Desk | Karachi, Pakistan MQM Pakistan has expressed its objection to the federal government’s decision to replace the Governor of Sindh, stating that the party was not consulted prior to the move.

In a statement, the party spokesperson said that the news of the change reached them through media sources. MQM Pakistan added that it will soon decide on its course of action regarding the decision.

The federal government has decided to remove Kamran Tessori and appoint Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nihal Hashmi as the new Governor of Sindh. The Prime Minister’s Office confirmed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has forwarded the summary for approval to the President of Pakistan.
