Web Desk | Karachi, Pakistan Gold and silver prices fell in both global and local markets after a two-day lull, according to market reports on Wednesday.
In the international bullion market, gold prices dropped $29 per ounce to $5,176. Locally, the price of gold per tola fell by PKR 2,900 to PKR 540,362, while the rate per 10 grams decreased by PKR 2,486 to PKR 463,273.
Silver prices also declined, with per tola rates falling PKR 179 to PKR 9,175 and per 10 grams dropping PKR 153 to PKR 7,866.
Analysts attributed the decline to fluctuations in global demand and adjustments in international bullion rates. Traders are monitoring the market closely for further movements.
