MUMBAI, India – Web Desk : Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda and his wife Lin Laishram have welcomed their first child, a baby girl.
The couple shared the joyful news with fans through a post on the social media platform Instagram, revealing that their daughter was born on a special day that also marks the birthday of Hooda’s father, Ranbir Hooda.
In their announcement, the couple described the moment as a double celebration for the family. They also shared a photo of their newborn daughter, showing her tiny hands.
Randeep Hooda posted an emotional message dedicated to both his father and his newborn daughter. Reflecting on becoming a parent himself, the actor expressed deeper appreciation for his father.
“Grandfather and granddaughter now share the same birthday. Today, as I become a father, my respect and gratitude for you have grown even more, Papa,” he wrote.
Addressing his wife in the post, Hooda added, “And most importantly, Lin Laishram, thank you for making me a father and for bringing our little daughter into this world.”
The couple had earlier announced their pregnancy in a joint Instagram post on November 29.
Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram first met through the theatre group of veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah. Their relationship grew stronger during the COVID-19 lockdown period before they publicly confirmed their relationship in 2022.
The couple later married on November 29, 2023, in a traditional ceremony in the Indian state of Manipur.
