North Korea Congratulates Iran on New Supreme Leader, Condemns Attacks

Pyongyang, North Korea – Web Desk: North Korea has congratulated Iran on the election of Mojtaba Khamenei as the country’s new Supreme Leader, calling it a decision worthy of respect and commending the Iranian people.

In a statement reported by the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), a spokesperson for North Korea’s Foreign Ministry also strongly condemned recent Israeli and US military actions against Iran, describing them as illegal operations that threaten regional peace and stability and escalate tensions globally.

North Korea expressed deep concern over the ongoing hostilities and called for urgent efforts to reduce tensions in the Middle East, emphasizing the need for diplomatic solutions to maintain regional security.
