Hezbollah Missile Strike on Israeli Military HQ Injures 16

Date:

Tel Aviv, Israel – Web Desk: The Lebanese armed group Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for a major missile strike targeting an Israeli military headquarters, as escalating cross-border attacks heighten tensions across the Middle East.

According to international media reports, Israeli authorities confirmed that at least 16 people were injured in the missile attack. The injured were transported to nearby hospitals where they are receiving medical treatment.

However, Israeli officials did not immediately disclose the exact location of the strike or whether the injured individuals were civilians or military personnel.

Hezbollah said the attack was launched from Lebanon and targeted the Israeli military’s Home Front Command headquarters located in Ramla, known as the Rehavam Base.

The group also claimed it struck a satellite communications station used by Israeli forces in Beit Shemesh, specifically in the Haila area.

Israeli authorities have not yet confirmed the extent of damage to the military facilities or the communications station mentioned by Hezbollah.

The reported strike comes amid a broader escalation in regional hostilities. Earlier, Iran also launched missile attacks targeting central Israel, including a cluster warhead strike that killed one person and injured four others.

The intensifying exchanges between Israel, Hezbollah, and Iran have raised concerns among international observers about the risk of a wider conflict spreading across the Middle East.
