Saudi Arabia Condemns Iran Attacks on Gulf States, Issues Warning

Date:

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Web Desk: Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned Iran’s missile and drone attacks targeting Gulf countries, warning that Tehran itself would suffer the greatest consequences if tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate.

According to Arab media reports, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement describing the Iranian attacks against Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states as a serious threat to regional peace and stability.

The statement emphasized that Saudi Arabia reserves the right to take all necessary measures to defend its territory, citizens, and national security against any form of aggression.

Saudi officials also described Iran’s missile and drone strikes against Gulf states as unacceptable acts of hostility, warning that such actions risk further destabilizing an already volatile region.

The ministry added that continued escalation could endanger not only regional stability but also global energy security, particularly as tensions rise around strategic oil routes in the Gulf.

Reaffirming solidarity with fellow GCC member states, Saudi Arabia said it would continue working closely with allied nations to maintain peace, stability, and security across the region.

The developments come after Iran reportedly targeted US military bases in Gulf countries in response to US and Israeli airstrikes. Iran has also moved to close the strategic Strait of Hormuz, a critical global oil shipping route, raising concerns about potential disruptions to global energy supplies.
