Washington, United States – Web Desk: The United States has confirmed the death of a seventh soldier in the ongoing conflict with Iran. According to US Central Command (CENTCOM), the soldier sustained injuries on March 1 during an Iranian attack on a US military base in Saudi Arabia and later succumbed to those wounds.
Previously, six US soldiers were killed in a drone strike by Iran at Kuwait’s Port of Shuaiba. Their bodies were transported back to the United States, where a memorial ceremony was held at Dover Air Force Base. The event was attended by US President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, and senior officials.
US authorities have stated that the identity of the latest casualty will not be released until the family has been formally notified. The attacks have significantly escalated tensions between Iran and the United States in the region.
