Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: The Pakistan Air Force has carried out fresh air strikes under Operation Zarb-ul-Haq, targeting key military installations linked to the Afghan Taliban regime, security sources said on Wednesday.
According to the sources, two brigade headquarters were destroyed in Kabul during the latest wave of air operations. The strikes reportedly inflicted significant damage on enemy infrastructure.
In Kandahar, an air raid targeted and destroyed a corps headquarters along with a brigade headquarters. An ammunition depot and a logistics base were also reported to have been completely destroyed.
Security officials further stated that in Nangarhar Province, PAF aircraft struck and destroyed a major ammunition storage facility. In Paktia Province, another corps headquarters was targeted in what sources described as a precise and effective aerial operation.
The developments come amid heightened tensions along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. There has been no immediate confirmation or response from the Afghan Taliban authorities regarding the reported strikes.
Operation Zarb-ul-Haq is part of Pakistan’s broader security strategy aimed at countering cross-border threats and safeguarding national security.
