Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed that Pakistan will make no compromise on national security and will respond decisively to any act of aggression.
In a statement regarding the ongoing Operation Zarb-ul-Haq against Afghan aggression, the prime minister said the people of Pakistan and the country’s armed forces remain fully prepared to defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He stated that the Pakistan Armed Forces are determined to ensure that peace and security are not undermined. According to the prime minister, the military possesses the professional capability, advanced training, and strategic preparedness to counter both internal and external threats.
Sharif also highlighted the leadership of Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir, saying the armed forces are carrying out their duties with national resolve and operational effectiveness.
The prime minister added that Pakistan has consistently promoted peace in the region but would not allow any harm to its sovereignty. “Every aggression will be met with a firm response,” he said, emphasizing that the nation stands united alongside its armed forces in safeguarding national security.
The statement comes amid heightened regional tensions and ongoing security operations along the western border.
