Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Amid escalating tensions between Iran and the United States, Dutch airline KLM announced the suspension of all flights to Israel, effective from March 1 until further notice.
The move comes amid rising regional concerns as Australia has initiated measures to evacuate its citizens from Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. Meanwhile, the United States has deployed six additional F-22 fighter jets to the Middle East in response to the growing security threat.
In a related development, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, speaking to Indian media, stated that the U.S. military buildup around Iran is aimed at pressuring Tehran into submission, but Iran will not be intimidated. He emphasized that Iran is more prepared than ever and believes that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable path to resolve tensions. Araghchi also reaffirmed Iran’s right to peaceful nuclear activity.
Analysts warn that the situation in the Middle East could further destabilize air travel and international relations, with several governments taking precautionary steps to safeguard citizens in the region.
