Batting first in Centurion, South Africa posted a formidable 361 for 8 in their allotted 50 overs. Anneke Dercksen led the charge with a fluent 90, while Tazmin Brits added 77 runs to anchor the innings.
For Pakistan, Sadia Iqbal, Fatima Sana and Aroob Shah claimed two wickets each, but struggled to contain the hosts’ aggressive batting.
In response, Pakistan mounted a strong chase and scored 345 before being bowled out, falling just 16 runs short of the target. Ayesha Zafar top-scored with 77, while Sadaf Shamas contributed 61, but their efforts were not enough to secure victory.
With the win, South Africa sealed the three-match ODI series 2-0, underlining their dominance in the contest.
