Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Former Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim is at the center of a personal controversy after his ex-wife, Sania Ashfaq, allegedly leaked private WhatsApp chats. The messages reportedly contain threats directed at her and raise serious allegations regarding past incidents.
Imad Wasim confirmed his second marriage to social media influencer Nyla Raja on 16 February, posting a detailed Instagram note addressing his past life, children, and new marriage. He stated that he tried to improve the previous relationship but faced delays and mistakes along the way.
Sania Ashfaq publicly accused Wasim of arranging an abortion in December 2023, calling him “deceitful” and urging Islamabad United to boycott any association with him. She shared multiple screenshots of WhatsApp conversations, allegedly from July 2025, which contain disputes over fidelity, threats, and the prior incident.
The leaked messages indicate that Wasim warned Ashfaq against contacting him or his family, threatening legal action for harassment if she did so. Ashfaq emphasized that her only request was for Wasim to meet and care for their children, but claims he responded with threats instead of support.
The controversy has sparked widespread discussion on social media about personal privacy, accountability, and the scrutiny of public figures’ private lives in Pakistan.
