Trump Praise Boosts Pakistan’s Global Standing: Ataullah Tarar

Washington, United States – Web Desk: Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Information Ataullah Tarar said that praise from US President Donald Trump for Pakistan’s leadership has enhanced the country’s global standing, particularly following the Board of Peace meeting in Washington.

In a video statement from Washington, Tarar said Pakistan received significant recognition and respect during the international forum. He noted that President Trump commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their roles, describing the remarks as a source of pride for Pakistanis, especially those living abroad.

The minister said Prime Minister Sharif played an effective diplomatic role on the Palestinian issue and highlighted Pakistan’s position at various international forums, including the United Nations and other multilateral platforms. He reiterated Pakistan’s support for Palestinian self-determination, implementation of UN resolutions, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state as essential for lasting peace in the region.

Tarar added that positive engagement and cordial meetings between the US president and the Pakistani prime minister have strengthened Pakistan’s diplomatic position. He said the country is emerging as an active and relevant player in global affairs, with foreign policy moving forward through coordinated national leadership efforts.
