Kolkata, India – Web Desk: In the 17th match of the T20 World Cup, Italy won the toss against West Indies at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, and elected to field first.
Italian captain Harry Manenti said the team aims to exploit early pitch conditions to take quick wickets. “West Indies are a strong team, but our performance against England has boosted our confidence,” he added.
West Indies skipper Shai Hope, however, remained unfazed by the toss outcome. “Losing the toss does not affect us; we will play according to our plan,” Hope stated.
