Peshawar, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has stepped up preparations for a major protest, with party sources confirming that a special protest container has been prepared for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi as part of the upcoming political campaign.
According to party insiders, a 40-foot-long container has been specially designed to serve as a mobile stage and command center during the protest. The container reportedly includes a washroom, seating area, and operational space, indicating a long-term sit-in strategy. The slogan “Freedom or Death” has been prominently displayed on the container, symbolizing PTI’s political messaging and mobilization narrative.
Sources say the container is expected to be used as the central stage during demonstrations, with strategic planning already underway. Meetings between Chief Minister Suhail Afridi and key PTI leaders have reportedly taken place to finalize protest location, timing, logistics, and political strategy. Party workers have also been instructed to remain on standby for potential mobilization.
A video showing the inspection of the protest container by Suhail Afridi has surfaced on social media, fueling speculation about an imminent announcement. National Assembly member Shahid Khattak also confirmed that the container is ready in Peshawar, stating that the chief minister would take the lead role during the protest.
Meanwhile, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar clarified that party founder Imran Khan has advised against marching toward Islamabad in the future, signaling a possible shift in protest strategy toward organized regional demonstrations instead of direct capital sit-ins.
Political analysts believe PTI’s preparations indicate renewed political momentum and pressure tactics ahead of evolving political developments in Pakistan. The party’s protest planning comes amid rising political tensions and public debates over governance, democracy, and economic challenges.
Observers say the coming days could be crucial as PTI leadership finalizes its protest roadmap, which could significantly impact Pakistan’s political landscape.
