Sharjeel Memon calls comments misleading, disrespectful to Sindh’s citizens
Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has strongly condemned TV host Tabish Hashmi for making misleading remarks on the Gul Plaza incident, calling them irresponsible and an insult to the people of Sindh.
During a press conference, Minister Memon said Hashmi’s comments demonstrated ignorance of constitutional and administrative matters and created confusion among citizens. He emphasized that Sindh’s governance follows democratic principles and legal frameworks, and such insensitive statements undermine public trust.
Memon added that Karachi, the heart of Sindh, requires serious policy-driven solutions and collective efforts rather than superficial media commentary. He urged media outlets to promote responsible journalism and address public issues with seriousness rather than turning them into entertainment.
