Frontman Dumper Driver Mazumt Khan Hands Rs 4.05B to National Treasury After Plea Bargain
Peshawar, Pakistan – Web Desk: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) achieved its largest single recovery in history, reclaiming Rs 4.05 billion from Kohistan mega corruption scandal frontman Mazumt Khan, who served as the dumper driver for key accused Qaiser Iqbal.
Mazumt Khan handed over the funds through cash, assets, and vehicles under a plea bargain approved by the Accountability Court, ensuring the money was returned to the national treasury. NAB sources confirmed the funds were linked to fraudulent bank accounts opened in the name of fake companies by Khan under instructions from Qaiser Iqbal.
The landmark recovery highlights NAB’s crackdown on corruption in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and reinforces accountability efforts across Pakistan’s public sector projects.
