On 8th day of rescue, Quran and Islamic plaques discovered unharmed despite total destruction
Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: On the eighth day of rescue operations following the Gul Plaza tragedy, rescue teams discovered a Quran and Islamic plaques completely intact amidst the ruins of a burned-down shop. While the fire had destroyed everything else, these holy items remained untouched.
According to Express News, the items were found during a search-and-rescue operation by Rescue 1122. A spokesperson confirmed that despite the massive fire that engulfed the surrounding area, the Quran and plaques were fully preserved. Rescue volunteers noted that previous searches in the mosque and shops had also yielded Qurans surviving the devastating blaze, underscoring a remarkable preservation amid destruction.
