Pakistani security forces foil terrorist siege in Kharan, recover stolen cash, 12 militants dead

In a major counter-terror operation in Kharan, Balochistan, Pakistani security forces successfully neutralized 12 terrorists involved in coordinated attacks on a city police station and multiple banks. The attackers, affiliated with Fitna-e-Hindustan, attempted to take hostages at the police station while looting millions of rupees from National Bank and Habib Bank. Security forces responded promptly, engaging the militants at three separate locations and foiling their planned siege. The operation prevented further civilian casualties and disrupted the terrorists’ plans. Authorities confirmed that the ongoing clearance and anti-terrorism measures aim to eliminate the presence of foreign-backed insurgents in the region.
