Chief Minister says Kalat operation vital for restoring peace, vows continued action against terrorism
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has paid tribute to Pakistan’s security forces for the successful counterterrorism operation in Kalat, calling it a major achievement in the fight against terrorism. In a statement from Karachi, the chief minister said the forces deserve full appreciation for thwarting the hostile designs of terrorist elements.
He described the Kalat operation as an important success against terrorism, emphasizing that it demonstrated the unity of the state in ensuring peace and stability. Murad Ali Shah said the operation proved that all national institutions are aligned and committed to eliminating terrorism.
The Sindh chief minister stressed that operations like the one in Kalat are indispensable for the establishment of lasting peace and for dismantling terrorist networks. He reaffirmed that protecting the lives and property of citizens remains the government’s top priority and praised the sacrifices of security forces.
Murad Ali Shah reiterated the resolve that state action against terrorism will continue until its complete eradication.
