(Web Desk) – Five terrorists were sent to hell during a shootout stemmed out from an attack on the Counter Terrorist Department (CTD) personnel in Bannu.
The terrorists attacked the CTD team when they were passing from Domail Hilal Chowk in an armoured personnel carrier (APC).
As the law-enforcement personnel hit back with force, the terrorists fled and forced into a house in an attempt to get shelter. On resistance they shot dead two persons inside the house.
After an effective response from local police and CTD personnel, five terrorists were killed.
The security personnel also recovered weapons and grenades from the possession of the slain terrorists.
On November 21, 2025, seven people were killed and another was injured in a terrorist attack on an office of the peace committee in Bannu.
Police officials said the terrorists had targeted the office of the peace committee head, Qari Jaleel.
They said all bodies and injured have been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital, while an investigation has also been launched into the incident.
The victims had been identified as Danish, Kamran, Waliullah, Sufyan, Muhammad Niaz, Noman, and Sufyan.
