(Web-Desk)-Five people were killed and seven including a woman were injured in firing during a clash between two rival groups of Shar and Selro communities in Ronti Kacha area of Obaro on Thursday.
According to police, Ali Gohar Dhondo, Sobo Selro, Ibrahim Selro and others were among the deceased.
Bodies and injured were shifted to Tehsil Hospital Obaro by rescue personnel.
Firing was still continuing which caused chaos and panic among the local residents.
Heavy contingent of police has been sent towards the Kacha area to bring the situation under control.
Meanwhile, a dangerous proclaimed offender was arrested in injured condition with weapons after police encounter in Obaro.
According to police, the arrested accused identified as Bilal Malik who have been shifted to nearby hospital in injured condition while his accomplices managed to escape from crime scene.
Police said four unknown robbers were standing on Lakpur road with the intension of robbery when police reached the spot.
More police contingent have been called for searching and arresting the escaped robbers.
