Karachi: Sindh Senior Minister and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport, and Mass Transit, Sharjeel Inam Memon, announced that over 326,000 candidates have been declared eligible through the Sindh Job Portal, a digital platform designed for merit-based recruitment across public and private sectors.
Speaking on the initiative, Memon highlighted that the portal screens applicants based on qualifications, education, and experience, enabling youth to access job opportunities from home, saving time and resources. He noted that the portal includes government vacancies (Grade 5 to 15), as well as technical, non-technical, and private sector roles.
He assured that data security and merit-based matching are core features of the system, which is fully automated and transparent. “Every recruitment process is digitally traceable and auditable,” he said, reaffirming the Sindh government’s commitment to merit, transparency, and youth empowerment.
Memon added that the government is not only creating employment pathways but also investing in modern skill development to prepare youth for evolving job markets.
