Security forces killed five militants in Panjgur and six in Chagai during separate operations, with weapons, ammunition and explosives recovered, security sources said.

WEB DESK: Security forces killed 11 terrorists during separate operations in Balochistan’s Panjgur and Chagai districts under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, security sources said on Saturday.

According to the sources, five terrorists were killed during an operation in the Gowargo area of Panjgur district, while six others were killed during operations in the Ameenabad and Siah Chang areas of Chagai district.

The operations also resulted in the recovery of weapons, ammunition and explosive material, according to security sources.

Five terrorists killed in Panjgur

Security forces conducted an operation in the Gowargo area of Panjgur, where five terrorists were killed, the sources said.

A large quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the possession of the killed terrorists, according to the security sources.

Six terrorists killed in Chagai

Separate operations were conducted in the Ameenabad and Siah Chang areas of Chagai district.

Six terrorists were killed during the operations, while a significant cache of arms and explosive material was seized, according to the sources.

Further clearance activities were reported to be continuing in the affected areas.

Operations continue in Balochistan

The latest operations are part of the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, under which security forces have carried out a series of counterterrorism operations across Balochistan in recent days.

On September 18, security forces reportedly killed seven terrorists in separate operations in Panjgur and Kachhi districts. Earlier, three terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Awaran district, according to state media reports citing security sources.

The latest development brings another reported round of security operations in the province as authorities continue counterterrorism efforts.

Security situation in Balochistan

Balochistan has remained one of Pakistan’s major areas affected by militant violence. Recent operations in the province have involved intelligence-based actions and targeted raids, with security authorities reporting the recovery of weapons, ammunition and explosives.

The Centre for Research and Security Studies reported that Balochistan accounted for 34% of violence-related fatalities recorded in Pakistan during the second quarter of 2026, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa accounted for more than 61%, according to figures cited according to report
