David Beckham Sends Message to Brooklyn Amid Family Rift in Paris
PARIS, FRANCE — WEB DESK: David Beckham has made another public gesture towards his eldest son Brooklyn Beckham as speculation continues over tensions within the famous family during Paris Fashion Week.
The former England football captain shared a family-related social media post while Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were also in the French capital.
David’s gesture attracted attention because Brooklyn has publicly confirmed his estrangement from his parents and previously said he did not want to reconcile with his family.
Brooklyn, 27, and Nicola, 31, arrived in Paris earlier in the week as Victoria Beckham prepared to present her latest collection during Paris Fashion Week.
Their presence in the same city fuelled speculation that the family could cross paths during one of the fashion industry’s biggest events.
However, Brooklyn and Nicola attended other fashion events in Paris rather than Victoria’s show, while David joined Romeo, Cruz and Harper in supporting his wife at her presentation.
