GLASGOW, UNITED KINGDOM — WEB DESK: Pakistan’s Olympic javelin champion Arshad Nadeem has congratulated boxer Fatima Zahra on her bronze-medal achievement at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Fatima Zahra was part of Pakistan’s boxing contingent at the Games and had been appointed captain of the national boxing team before the competition.
Fatima makes history for Pakistan
Fatima’s bronze represents a significant achievement for Pakistani women’s boxing at the Commonwealth Games.

Fatima’s achievement adds to her growing record in international boxing. She had previously won a bronze medal at the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games, where Arshad Nadeem also won gold in javelin.
