DALLAS, United States — Web Desk: Thousands of mourners gathered in Dallas to observe the Chehlum (Arbaeen) of Imam Hussain (AS), marking the 40th day after the martyrdom of the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the Battle of Karbala.
Religious gatherings (majalis), recitations, and mourning processions were held across the city as members of the Muslim community paid tribute to the sacrifices of Imam Hussain (AS) and his loyal companions. Participants emphasized the enduring message of justice, sacrifice, faith, and resistance against oppression associated with the events of Karbala.
The commemorative events were organized by local Islamic centers and community organizations, drawing participants from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Mourners carried black flags and banners while reciting elegies and prayers throughout the procession.
