KARACHI – Web Desk: Gold and silver prices resumed their upward trend on Monday after recent volatility, according to bullion market reports.
In the international bullion market, gold prices rose by $17 per ounce to $4,060, driving local sarafa markets higher. In Pakistan, 24-karat gold increased by Rs 1,700 per tola to Rs 428,436, while the price per 10 grams rose by Rs 1,457 to Rs 367,314.
Silver prices also gained, with international silver up 54 cents to $58.12 per ounce. In local markets, per tola silver rose by Rs 54 to Rs 6,291, while per 10 grams silver increased by Rs 46 to Rs 5,393.
