IRGC Releases Detailed List of Alleged US Losses in Iran Strikes

Date:

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have issued an extensive list of claimed US military losses from the 15-day conflict, ranging from radar systems to aircraft and command centres.

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has released an extensive list of alleged US military losses from the 15-day conflict between the two countries, describing damage to radar systems, aircraft, command centres and logistics infrastructure across the region.

According to a report by the Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA), IRGC spokesman Brigadier General Hossein Mohebi said Iranian forces destroyed 11 US fighter jets and helicopters that were stationed at American bases in the region during the conflict. He described the damage inflicted on US forces as extensive, saying Iranian strikes had been severe and wide-ranging.

Among radar and air-defence losses, Mohebi’s list included seven command-and-control centres, three satellite communication systems and six Patriot air-defence radar systems, which he claimed had been weakened to the point that Iranian missiles and drones were reaching their targets without interception. The list further claimed damage to three aerial and naval surveillance radars, eight early-warning systems, seven air-defence missile radars, several EPS-series radar systems, five long-range radars and a tactical radar complex.

On support and logistics assets, the IRGC spokesman claimed Iranian strikes had destroyed six maintenance and repair centres for fighter aircraft and helicopters, three logistics support centres, 12 fuel storage tanks, 17 weapons support depots and naval and aerial spare-parts warehouses, along with six missile storage bunkers.

Mohebi also listed extensive claimed damage to operational infrastructure, including six hangars for MQ-9 drones, an F-15 hangar, a drone hangar reportedly housing eight brand-new drones, two command centres, a refuelling platform for an aircraft carrier, a P-8 aircraft hangar, four HIMARS missile launch platforms, five fighter jet hangars, four Patriot air-defence complexes, a fuel pumping station, two signal communication centres, an intelligence data centre, and an artificial intelligence facility along with a data-processing facility linked to Amazon.

The list further claimed damage to a depot for unmanned surface vessels, a fuel facility, four aircraft protective shelters, and six taxiways and parking ramps. In terms of aerial losses, Mohebi’s statement claimed 11 fighter jets and helicopters were destroyed on the ground, along with 17 reconnaissance and operational drones — eight of which were said to be newly deployed — an F-15 fighter jet inside a hardened shelter, a P-8 surveillance aircraft, a C-17 transport aircraft, eight aerial refuelling tankers, four heavy helicopters and six stored missiles.

Brigadier General Mohebi said US forces in the region had suffered heavy losses at their bases as a result of the strikes. None of the figures in the IRGC’s list have been independently verified, and US authorities have not issued a comprehensive public accounting of losses from the exchange of strikes.
