Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned recent Houthi attacks on Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea during a telephone conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman .
Strong Condemnation
The Prime Minister described the attacks as “unacceptable,” stating they violate international law, threaten freedom of maritime navigation, and undermine regional peace and security. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s “complete solidarity” with Saudi Arabia, saying the entire nation stands firmly with the Saudi leadership and people during this critical time .
Commitment to Regional Stability
Both leaders agreed to continue close cooperation for the promotion of peace, security, and stability in the region. They also expressed commitment to ensuring uninterrupted maritime trade and navigation through the Red Sea, the Strait of Hormuz, and the broader region .
Saudi Recognition
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman appreciated Pakistan’s consistent support and the strong brotherly ties between the two nations. PM Shehbaz also conveyed his best wishes to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud .
