India’s star cricketer Virat Kohli found himself in the spotlight after photos from a private meeting in London surfaced on social media without his consent.
London, United Kingdom – Web Desk: According to international media, England batter Jordan Cox, Kohli’s teammate at Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), revealed in an interview with a British newspaper that the two met at a London café last month. During the meeting, they discussed cricket, handling pressure, and Kohli’s illustrious career.
Cox said the meeting remained uninterrupted at the time, but a few hours later, Kohli sent him a message asking whether he had seen the photographs of their meeting circulating on social media.
The England batter added that Kohli prefers to keep his personal life away from the public eye and simply enjoy time with his family like anyone else. However, due to his global popularity, maintaining privacy is often difficult.
Praising Kohli’s character, Cox said one of the most impressive aspects of playing alongside him was his willingness to mentor young cricketers. He noted that while many senior players focus solely on their own performances, Kohli consistently makes time to support and guide emerging talent.
Following his retirement from Test and T20 International cricket, Kohli has maintained a relatively low public profile and spends much of his time in London with his wife Anushka Sharma and their children.
