Iran’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, has warned that Tehran will no longer consider itself bound by its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United States if Washington continues what Iran describes as violations of the agreement.
(Web Desk) Speaking to reporters outside the UN Security Council, Iravani accused the United States of committing a “flagrant violation” of the UN Charter following alleged attacks on Iranian islands and southern cities on July 7 and 8, according to Al Jazeera.
The Iranian envoy said Tehran remains committed to the MoU only if the United States fully complies with its own obligations. He warned that continued alleged breaches by Washington could prompt Iran to suspend its commitments under the agreement, further raising concerns over regional stability.
