Iran Army Chief Vows Justice Over Ayatollah Khamenei’s Killing

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s Army Chief, Major General Amir Hatami, has said that those responsible for the killing of former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei will be pursued and “will not escape their fate.”

In a statement, General Hatami said the late Supreme Leader had charted a path of honour, freedom, and national dignity, adding that Iran’s armed forces would continue to uphold those principles with determination and resolve.

He further stated that the Iranian armed forces would continue to perform their duties under the leadership of Ayatollah (Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei) without hesitation.

The remarks come amid heightened regional tensions, with Iranian military officials reiterating their commitment to the country’s leadership and national security.
