Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have agreed to remain vigilant against any attempts to undermine or sabotage the Iran–US understanding, following a high-level telephone conversation between the two leaders.
According to media reports, the Saudi Crown Prince congratulated the Pakistani leadership on the successful completion of the “Islamabad Peace Agreement” and acknowledged the key diplomatic role played in facilitating the deal.
During the call, the Prime Minister thanked Saudi Arabia for its consistent support for Pakistan’s peace initiatives and stated that the agreement between Iran and the United States was made possible with strong backing from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman praised the efforts of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, describing his role as instrumental in the success of the peace process.
Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the continuation of dialogue between Iran and the United States and stressed the importance of close monitoring of any efforts that could derail the diplomatic process.
The Prime Minister also expressed satisfaction over Pakistan–Saudi Arabia relations and said both countries are expected to finalize a comprehensive economic package in the near future under the Saudi leadership.
He extended an invitation to the Saudi Crown Prince for an official visit to Pakistan and conveyed good wishes for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
Both sides agreed to maintain close coordination and regular contact in the coming days to support regional peace and stability.
